Christian Siriano was born on November 18, 1985, in Annapolis MD. And at the age of thirteen, he started to sew and design clothes while working at a hair salon, most of the designs were for their annual exhibitions at the salon. His interest for costume design led him later to become a sucessful designer. After his studies in London Vivienne Westwood and Alexander Mcqueen,he launched his eponymous collection in 2008.The Christian Siriano collection is shown each season at New York Fashion Week, and was presented in New York and Paris to retailers. Being known for his show -stopping design--from fantasy evening gowns and cocktail dresses to tailored sportswear intricately detailed shoes and accessories-- the collection can be found at department stores and specialty boutiques around the world. In 2012, the first christiano siriano store opened in New York City, also in 2013 he was inducted as a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America(CFDA).
